USB AMR Receiver
The Radio-Tech USB receiver is the vehicle-based data collection device in Radio-Tech’s AMR System. The receiver is a small, lightweight and compact radio receiver that enables meter readers to efficiently capture a large number of readings.
It has been designed to be mounted temporarily within a vehicle and can be easily installed or removed so that there is no need to dedicate a single vehicle to meter reading activity.
USB Receivers are supplied as standard with ¼ wave helical antennas (see image) allowing for compact storage and ease of transfer between vehicles. Extended Operational range can be achieved through the use of magnetic mounted or fixed vehicle antennas.

Radio-Tech’s receiver protocol can be integrated with most utilities existing handheld computers and route management software packages, helping to protect any existing investment in hardware. The device also has a SMA connector to allow for different antenna types.
