Field Customer-Support Engineer: Leakage Management Equipment

THE COMPANY: Palmer Environmental, part of Halma Water Management, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of leak detection equipment. Environmental pressure to conserve valuable water resources is placing a growing demand on the Company’s products and a Field Customer-Support Engineer is now sought to capture these business opportunities.

THE ROLE: Covering a wide territory in the North of England, the successful candidate will visit mainly water company customers providing technical support for the Halma Water Management group. This will include making office presentations, undertaking field demonstrations, training and promoting the benefits of our products. Regular feedback to a Key Account Manager will be required to report leads and construct quotations.

The successful candidate will be self-motivating with a determination to succeed. They will be keen to learn about the technical capabilities of our products and most importantly, will build excellent business relationships based on trust and respect. This is a genuine career opportunity.

A minimum two years technical sales/sales support experience in a commercial environment and relevant industry/product knowledge is an advantage.
